Steven Mednick is an expert in entrepreneurial start-ups, complex sales and the funding process. He has over 25 years’ experience working with early stage businesses to large, complex global enterprises in the areas of corporate ventures, business development, sales leadership and corporate law. During the dot-com era, he was Director of Corporate Ventures at Silicon Graphics, Inc., where he established its corporate ventures office and led its global mergers and acquisitions and licensing initiatives.
Professor Mednick is the Greif Center Graduate Coordinator and teaches in the Marshall School of Business MBA, EMBA and Master in Medical Management programs and is a two-time winner of Marshall's Golden Apple Award. Business Insider has recognized his Feasibility and Cases in New Venture Management courses as two of the top 10 MBA courses entrepreneurs must take. In addition, he has appeared on KNX Radio’s Money Hour as well as in Entrepreneur Magazine.
Mednick is also a frequent speaker and writer in the entrepreneurial community. His published articles and case have been read by entrepreneurs and have been used by business schools worldwide. At TriTech SBDC, since 2007 Mednick has consulted with over 400 early stage business generating over $350 million in economic impact.
